Dinosaurs:

Dinosaurs, Tyrannosaurus Rex

There is perhaps no other topic in all of earth science which has sparked as much fascination and discussion as dinosaurs.  Many people, both scientists and laypersons, have thought in amazement about these awesome creatures; how they lived, when they lived, and how they died out.  For many Christians, however, the subject of dinosaurs has caused a great deal of discomfort.  Some feel that there are contradictions between what they hear the Bible says and what scientists are saying.  Are these feelings justified?  Are there contradictions between the Bible and science with regards to dinosaurs?  This website maintains that there are no contradictions, nor can there be because the God who created the heavens and the earth also inspired the Bible.  Therefore, the two MUST agree.  In this mini-section on dinosaurs, we will explore all areas of this subject including the following:

  1. Dinosaurs and the Bible: Are dinosaurs mentioned in the Bible?  How do they fit within the context of Scripture?  What are the facts, and what are the interpretations?
  2. Dinosaurs and Humans: Is there any scientific evidence that humans and dinosaurs lived at the same time?
  3. Dinosaurs and Geology: What does the rock record teach us about dinosaurs?  What are the facts, and what are the interpretations?
  4. Conclusions: How are Christians to understand and make sense of dinosaurs?
